ORDINANCE NO. 2393 , <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 12-1 OF <br />SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE COMPOSITION OF THE PARIS <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS <br />OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1978. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That Section 12-1 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as <br />follows: <br />"Sec. 12 - l. Composition of department. <br />The fire department of the city shall be com - <br />posed of the fire chief and thirty-five (35) members <br />classified as follows: <br />(1) One (1) fire marshal, who shall serve as an <br />assistant to the fire chief. <br />(2) One (1) assistant fire marshal and fire training <br />officer. <br />(3) One (1) assistant fire marshal. <br />(4) Two (2) deputy fire chiefs. <br />(5) Six (6) fire engineers. <br />(6) Four (4) fire fighter -drivers. <br />(7) Twenty (20) firefighters. <br />Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Sect.ion 3.
