ORDINANCE NO. 2394 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO- VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 14-30 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING THE PERMISSIBLE HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THE SANITARY LANDFILL; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY l, 1978. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA R IS: Section 1. That Section 14-30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 14 -30. Hours of operation. The sanitary landfill will be open to the citizens of the City of Paris for a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours per week, such hours and days of operation to be selected by the City Manager, in order to best serve the needs of such citizens. The hours to be selected shall be between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A. M. and 6:00 o'clock P. M. , Monday through Saturday and 12:00 0' clock noon and 6:00 o'clock P. M. on Sundays. It shall be unlawful for any person to unload, dump, or place garbage or refuse at the sanitary landfill at any time except during these periods. " Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on July l, 1978.
