ORDINANCE NO. 2395 , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT l, CITY BLOCK 254A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ARCHIE BRAY AND HELEN BRAY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR- MERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NOo 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 oE the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot l, City Block 254A, on property belonging to Archie Bray and Helen Bray, so as to include in such Generat Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the bounda- ries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are here- by established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas; being a part of the George W. Cox Survey, Abstract No. 164, in City Block No. 254A, being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at an Iron Pipe set for a corner, said point being the point of intersection of the N/B/L of East Polk Street and the W/B/L of 24th S. E. Street; THENCE with the N/B/L of East Polk Street, West 95 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; THENCE North 457 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner, said point being in the S/B/L of Clarksville Street (US 271); THENCE with the S/B/L of Clarksville Street, South 58 °57' East, 115 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner, said point being the point of intersection of the S/B/L of Clarksville Street and the W/B/L of 24th S. E. Street; THENCE with the W/B/L of 24th S. E. Street, South 408 feet to the place of beginning containing 41, 087. 5 sq. ft. of area (.943 acre) Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon pa s sage.
