<br />AN ORDINAN CE F IX ING THE DATE F OR A PUBLIC HEAR IN G
<br />ON PROPERTY ON WEST BRAME STREET, FROM THE WEST
<br />BOUNDARY LINE OF 25TH STREET, S. W., WEST APPROXIMATELY
<br />851 FEET TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 8, BLOCK C,
<br />AND LOT 17, BLOCK D, PORTER' S SECOND ADDITION, AND ON
<br />WEST SHERMAN STREET, FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF
<br />25TH STREET, S. W., WEST APPROXIMATELY 861 FEET TO THE
<br />WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 13, BLOCK A, PORTER'S FIRST
<br />ADDITION, AND LOT l, BLOCK C, PORTER'S SECOND ADDITION, IN
<br />THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THREE (3) TIMES IN THE
<br />PARIS NEWS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING
<br />THE FINAL ESTIMATES OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF
<br />SUCH STREET IMPROVEMENTS AS FILED BY THE DIRECTOR OF
<br />PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; FIXING THE CHARGES TO
<br />BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND
<br />THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE
<br />INTENTION OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST THE REAL
<br />AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY AND A.GAINST THE SAID
<br />PROPERTY ITSELF.
<br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br />hereby finds and determines:
<br />l. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br />has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the 8th day
<br />of January, 1973, determined the necessity for and or-
<br />dered the improvement of the following streets:
<br />(a) West Brame Street, from the West Boundary Line
<br />of 25th Street, S. W. , West approximately 851 feet
<br />to the West Boundary Line of Lot 8, Block C, and
<br />Lot 17, Block D, Porter's Second Addition.
<br />(b) West Sherman Street, from the West Boundary Line
<br />of 25th Street, S. W. , West approximately 861 feet
<br />to the West Boundary Line of Lot 13, Block A,
<br />Porter's First Addition, and Lot 1, Block C,
<br />Porter's Second Addition.
<br />by installation of a six inch (6") white rock base and a
<br />double seal of asphalt penetration surfacing, and accord-
<br />ing to the plans and specifications prepared by the
<br />Director of Public Works.
<br />2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of
<br />Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above
<br />described ordinance has heretofore been filed with the
<br />County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the County in
<br />which said City of Paris is situated.
<br />3. That the City Council has caused the Director of Public
<br />Works to prepare and file estimates of the costs of
<br />such improvements and estimates of the amounts per
<br />front foot to be assessed against the property abutting
<br />said streets within the limits defined and the real and
<br />true owners thereof.
