ORDINANCE NO. 2211 . AN ORDINANCE AMEN G ZONIN ORDINANCE CHANGI GOTHEIO OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 35D, CITY BLOCK 249, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH JIM F. KIRBY OWNS A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED A E BOU DIARIES OF THE GEN DISTRICT RE- (NS), AND DESIGNATING TH TAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 35D, City Block 249, upon property of which Jim F. 1<irby owns a current option, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre- sently designated as a Nei Re~a 1 Di tr ct (GR) C beN andathe that the boundaries of said General same are hereby established as follows: Being a tract of land situated in the George W. Cox Survey and Joseph Leach Survey, Lamar County, Texas, and being out of the 206. 4 acre tract conveyed to Mary Virginia Hocker and Charles M. Johnson by Morgan P. Johnson and Maggie C. Johnso3 as recorded in Book 335, Page 231, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Northerly Line of U. S. Highway No. 271, said point being the South West Corner of a tract formerly owned by W. B. Cheatham, said point also being the beginning of the curve to the right having a tangent bearing N 78° 43' 17" West a radius of 5321. 48 feet and a central angle of 2° 10' 08" for a corner; THENCE in a Westerly direction and along sei d curve in a Northerly Line of U. S. Highway 271, 201. 44 feet to a point on the Easterly Line of a proposed 50 foot street for a corner; THENCE along said Easterly Line of said proposed 50 foot street as follows: N 13 ° 43' E 19. 89 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 419. 41 feet and a central angle of 14 ° 27' for a corner; THENCE in a Northerly direction and around said curve 105.78 feet; THENCE N 0° 44' W 202. 92 feet a point for a corner; THENCE North 89 ° 16' E 180. 77 feet to a point on the West Line of said Cheatham tract for a corner; THENCE South 0° 18' E and along said West Line of Cheatham tract 372. 50 feet to the place of beginning and containing 1.46 acres of land.
