ORDINANCE NO. 2211 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMEN G ZONIN ORDINANCE <br />CHANGI GOTHEIO <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 35D, <br />CITY BLOCK 249, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH JIM F. KIRBY OWNS <br />A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED A E BOU DIARIES OF THE GEN DISTRICT <br />RE- <br />(NS), AND DESIGNATING TH <br />TAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on <br />Lot 35D, City Block 249, upon property of which Jim F. 1<irby owns a <br />current option, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) <br />the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre- <br />sently designated as a Nei Re~a 1 Di tr ct (GR) C beN andathe that <br />the boundaries of said General <br />same are hereby established as follows: <br />Being a tract of land situated in the George W. Cox <br />Survey and Joseph Leach Survey, Lamar County, Texas, <br />and being out of the 206. 4 acre tract conveyed to Mary <br />Virginia Hocker and Charles M. Johnson by Morgan P. <br />Johnson and Maggie C. Johnso3 as recorded in Book 335, <br />Page 231, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and <br />being more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point on the Northerly Line of U. S. <br />Highway No. 271, said point being the South West Corner <br />of a tract formerly owned by W. B. Cheatham, said point <br />also being the beginning of the curve to the right having <br />a tangent bearing N 78° 43' 17" West a radius of 5321. 48 <br />feet and a central angle of 2° 10' 08" for a corner; <br />THENCE in a Westerly direction and along sei d curve <br />in a Northerly Line of U. S. Highway 271, 201. 44 feet to a <br />point on the Easterly Line of a proposed 50 foot street for <br />a corner; <br />THENCE along said Easterly Line of said proposed <br />50 foot street as follows: N 13 ° 43' E 19. 89 feet to the <br />beginning of a curve to the left, said curve having a <br />radius of 419. 41 feet and a central angle of 14 ° 27' for a <br />corner; <br />THENCE in a Northerly direction and around said <br />curve 105.78 feet; <br />THENCE N 0° 44' W 202. 92 feet a point for a corner; <br />THENCE North 89 ° 16' E 180. 77 feet to a point on the <br />West Line of said Cheatham tract for a corner; <br />THENCE South 0° 18' E and along said West Line of <br />Cheatham tract 372. 50 feet to the place of beginning and <br />containing 1.46 acres of land. <br />
