<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
<br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
<br />ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 1, 2,
<br />3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 AND 11, BLOCK 2 OF LAMAR TERRACE
<br />ADDITION, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH B. RAY STEELMAN OWNS
<br />A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
<br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
<br />NO. 2(SF-2), AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
<br />GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
<br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
<br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on
<br />Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, Block 2 of Lamar Terrace
<br />Addition, upon property of which B. Ray Steelman owns a current op-
<br />tion, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR), the here-
<br />inafter described property, which was formerly and is presently de-
<br />signated as a One -Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF -2), and that
<br />the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the
<br />same are hereby established as follows:
<br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
<br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the George W.
<br />Cox Survey, and being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 61 71 9,
<br />10 and 11, Block 2 of Lamar Terrace Addition, fronting
<br />220 feet on Lamar Avenue, being 140 feet deep, and
<br />being Nos. 2322, 2340, 2350 and 2360 Lamar Avenue.
<br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
<br />the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
<br />Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
<br />of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the
<br />same, and in accordance with the provisions of th.is ordinance.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
<br />fl.ict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />Section 4.

<br />in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
<br />Texas, on this the 12th day of May, 1975.
