ORDINANCE NO. 2225 , <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, <br />COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PD-b) ON A PART OF LOT 2, <br />CITY BLOCK 299, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH JOHN PASS OWNS A <br />CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE <br />DISTRICT (NS), AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, COMMUNITY UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT (PD-b) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Planned <br />Development District, Community Unit Development (PD-b), be, and <br />the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 2, City Block 299, <br />upon property of which John Pass owns a current option, so as to in- <br />clude in such Planned Development District, Community Unit <br />Development (PD-b), the hereinafter described property, which was <br />formerly and is presently designated as a Neighborhood Service <br />District (NS), and that the boundaries of said Planned Development <br />District, Community Unit Development (PD-b), be, and the same are <br />hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph <br />Leach Survey, and being a part of a 81. 8 acre tract of land <br />conveyed Mrs. A. M. Henderson by deed recorded in Vol. 167, <br />Page 29, of the Deed Records of said County and State. <br />Beginning at a stake for corner in the South Boundary <br />Line of Clarksville St. at the present Northwest corner of <br />said Henderson tract of land, said point being the Northeast <br />corner of the Westinghouse Electric Co. tract. <br />Thence South a distance of 794 ft. to a stake for corner <br />in the West Boundary Line of said tract of land; <br />Thence South 83 Deg. 49 Min. East along the North <br />Boundary Line of the Texas and Pacific Railroad a distance <br />of 350 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />Thence North a distance of 728 ft. to a stake for corner <br />in the present North Boundary Line of said Henderson tract <br />of land; <br />Thence Northwesterly along the South Boundary Line of <br />Clarksville St. around a 1 Deg. curve to the right a <br />distance of 363 ft. to the place of beginning and containing <br />6.06 acres of land. <br />Being the West half of Lot 2, City Block 299. <br />Section 2. That the site plan of the property herein re-zoned, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, is approved subject to any engineering <br />requirements. <br />
