ORDINANCE NO. 2231 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MA.P OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, AUTO FUEL SALES (49), ON A PART OF LOT 28, CITY BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES W. FARRIS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPE- CIFIC USE PERMIT, AUTO FUEL SALES (49), SO ESTABLISHED, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Secti on l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail Dis- trict (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Auto Fuel Sales (49), be, and the same are hereby established on a part of Lot 28, City Block 249, on property belonging to James W. Farris, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Auto Fuel Sales (49), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Per- mit, Auto Fuel Sales (49), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the George W. Cox Survey, and being a part of a tract of land conveyed James W. Farris by deed recorded in Vol. 552, Page 69, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at an iron pin for corner at the Southwest corner of said Farris tract of land. Thence North 6 Deg. 35 Min. West along the East Boundary Line of 27th S. E. a distance of 142. 2 ft. to an iron pin for corner in the West Boundary Line of said Farris tract of land; Thence South 64 Deg. 10 Min. East a distance of 156. 2 ft. to an iron pin for corner; Thence South 25 Deg. 50 Min. West a distance of 120 ft. to an iron pin for corner in the South Boundary Line of said Farris tract of land; Thence North 64 Deg. 10 Min. West along the North Boundary Line of Clarksville St. a distance of 80 ft. to the place of beginning and containing 0.33 acres of land. Being a part of Lot 28, City Block 249. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
