ORDINANCE NO. 2239 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 12, CITY BLOCK 222B, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH LEVERETT & STEELE FUNERAL HOME OWNS A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNAT- ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 12, City Block 222B, upon property of which Leverett & Steele Funeral Home owns a current option, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF -2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and a part of the George W. Cox Survey; Beginning at the South West Corner of Lot 12, City Block 222B, the same being in the North Boundary Line of Lot 4, City Block 222B; Thence North 100 feet with the common boundary line between Lot 12 and Lot 13 to a point; Thence East 105 feet to the East Boundary Line of said Lot 12, the same being in the West Boundary Line of Lot 9; Thence South with the West Boundary Line of Lot 9 and the West Boundary Line of Lot 8 to the North East Corner of Lot 5, the same being the South East Corner of Lot 12; Thence West with the North Boundary Line of Lot 5 and the North Boundary Line of Lot 4, 105 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon pa s s age.
