ORDINANCE NO. 2239 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF <br />LOT 12, CITY BLOCK 222B, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH LEVERETT <br />& STEELE FUNERAL HOME OWNS A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNAT- <br />ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO <br />ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial <br />District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of <br />Lot 12, City Block 222B, upon property of which Leverett & Steele <br />Funeral Home owns a current option, so as to include in such <br />Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which <br />was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2(SF -2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial <br />District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and a part of the George <br />W. Cox Survey; <br />Beginning at the South West Corner of Lot 12, <br />City Block 222B, the same being in the North Boundary <br />Line of Lot 4, City Block 222B; <br />Thence North 100 feet with the common boundary <br />line between Lot 12 and Lot 13 to a point; <br />Thence East 105 feet to the East Boundary Line of <br />said Lot 12, the same being in the West Boundary Line <br />of Lot 9; <br />Thence South with the West Boundary Line of Lot 9 <br />and the West Boundary Line of Lot 8 to the North East <br />Corner of Lot 5, the same being the South East Corner <br />of Lot 12; <br />Thence West with the North Boundary Line of Lot 5 <br />and the North Boundary Line of Lot 4, 105 feet to the <br />place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br />the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br />Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br />of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, <br />and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon pa s s age. <br />
