ORDINANCE NO. 2241 , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON A PART OF LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 339, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JESSE L. WINTERMUTE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 2, City Block 339, on property belonging to Jesse L. Wintermute, so as to include in such Light Industrial District (LI) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre- sently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being part of a 17.548 acre tract of land out of the James Bourland Survey, Abstract No. 69, and being a part of Lot 2, City Block 339, and being more particularly described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the WBL of 7th Street, S. W. with the SBL of Loop 286 S. W. ; Thence S 0° 30' E along the WBL of 7th Street, S. W. , 312. 0 feet to the S. E. corner of said 17. 548 acre tract; Thence West 1555 feet along the South Line of said tract to a point in the present City Limit Line; Thence Northwesterly along the present City Limit Line, 400 feet to a point in the West Line of said tract; Thence N 1° 47' W along the West Line of said tract, 550 feet to a point in the SBL of Loop 286 S. W. ; Thence along the SBL of Loop 286 S. W., the following: S 78 ° 24' E 99. 9 feet; S 72 ° 41' E 349.0 feet to the beginning of a 1° 30' curve to the left having a Delta Angle of 18 ° 44' and a radius of 3, 899. 71 feet; Easterly along said curve, 1269. 5 feet; N 88 ° 35' E 149. 5 feet; S 46 ° 25' E 70. 7 feet to the place of beginning and containing 17.028 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
