ORDINANCE NO. 2244 , <br />AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR <br />A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND AUTHOR- <br />IZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PUBLIC HEARING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That on the 13th day of October, 1975, at 7:00 <br />o'clock P. M. , in the City Council Room of the City Hall of the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving <br />all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the pro- <br />posed annexation by the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the following <br />described property: <br />Situated partly within the Corporate Limits of the City <br />of Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part of the <br />Joseph Leach Survey, and being a tract of land now owned <br />by D. Wayne Brown and G. Eugene Brown and being a part <br />of the following tract of land conveyed J. L. Jopling, <br />25. 68 acres in Vol. 290, Page 581, 21. 8 acres in Vol. 309, <br />Page 11, and 57 acres in Vol. 312, Page 509, and a 44 acre <br />tract conveyed George O. Fisher, Jr. of, record in Vol. 312, <br />Page 381 of the Deed Records of said County and State and <br />being further described by metes and bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the West Boundary <br />Line of the Fisher tract, said stake being South 20 feet <br />from the Northeast corner of the above mentioned 25. 68 <br />acre tract; <br />THENCE East 200 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 28 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE East 300 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 320 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE East 200 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 320 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE East 350 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 185 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE West 20 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 400 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE East 185 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 20 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE East 150 feet to a stake for corner in the <br />East Boundary Line of the above mentioned 57 acre tract; <br />THENCE South a distance of 600 feet to a stake for <br />corner; <br />THENCE West 200 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE North 135 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE West 500 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 185 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE West 60 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE South 405 feet to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE West 380 feet to a stake for corner in the <br />East Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286; <br />THENCE North 29 Degrees West along said East <br />Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286, a distance of <br />635 feet to a concrete monument for corner; <br />
