<br />WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 17TH STREET, S. W., AT THE SOUTH
<br />EAST CORNER OF LOT l, BLOCK 3, S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION,
<br />AND THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 16, BLOCI< 3, S. J.
<br />WRIGHT ADDITION, BEING 15 FEET WIDE AND EXTENDING IN
<br />A WESTERLY DIRECTION 400 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE
<br />EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 18TH STREET, S. W. AND THE SOUTH
<br />WEST CORNER OF LOT 8, BLOCK 3, S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION,
<br />AND THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF LOT 9, BLOCK 3, S. J.
<br />WRIGHT ADDITION, LYING ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY
<br />LINES OF LOTS 1 THROUGH 8 AND ADJACENT TO THE NORTH
<br />BOUNDARY LINES OF LOTS 9 THROUGH 16, ALL IN BLOG'K 3 OF
<br />THE S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION, RECORDED BOOK 53, PAGE 476,
<br />DEED RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, AND DECLARING NO
<br />NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE, AND PRO-
<br />VIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 10, 1975.
<br />Whereas, it has been brought to the attention of the City
<br />Council of the City of Paris that an alley, beginning at the West
<br />Boundary Line of 17th Street, S. W. , at the South East Corner of
<br />Lot 1, Block 3, S. J. Wright Addition, and the North East Corner
<br />of Lot 16, Block 3, S. J. Wright Addition, being 15 feet wide and
<br />extending in a Westerly direction 400 feet, more or less, to the
<br />East Boundary Line of 18th Street, S. W. and the South West Corner
<br />of Lot 8, Block 3, S. J. Wright Addition, and the North West Corner
<br />of Lot 9, Block 3, S. J. Wright Addition, lying adjacent to the South
<br />Boundary Lines of Lots 1 through 8 and adjacent to the North
<br />Boundary Lines of Lots 9 through 16, all in Block 3 of the S. J.
<br />Wright Addition, recorded Book 53, Page 476, Deed Records, Lamar
<br />County, Texas, is of no use as an alley to the City of Paris or to its
<br />citizens, and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the alley, beginning at the West Boundary Line
<br />of 17th Street, S. W. , at the South East Corner of Lot 1, Block 3,
<br />S. J. Wright Addition, and the North East Corner of Lot 16, Block 3,
<br />S. J. Wright Addition, being 15 feet wide and extending in a Westerly
<br />direction 400 feet, more or less, to the East Boundary Line of 18th
<br />Street, S. W. and the South West Corner of Lot 8, Block 3, S. J.
<br />Wright Addition, and the North West Corner of Lot 9, Block 3, S. J.
<br />Wright A.ddition, lying adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 1
<br />through 8 and adjacent to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 9 through
<br />16, all in Block 3 of the S. J. Wright Addition, recorded Book 53,
<br />Page 476, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, is hereby closed.
<br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
<br />November 10, 1975.
