<br />AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY, BEGINNING AT THE
<br />WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 9TH STREET, N. W., AT THE SOUTH
<br />EAST CORNER OF LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 51, AND THE NORTH
<br />EAST CORNER OF LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 51, BEING 15 FEET WIDE
<br />AND EXTENDING IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION APPROXIMATELY
<br />265 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF
<br />lOTH STREET, N. W. AND THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF LOT l,
<br />CITY BLOCK 51, AND THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF LOT 9, CITY
<br />BLOCK 51, LYING ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINES OF
<br />LOTS 1 THROUGH 5 AND ADJACENT TO THE NORTH BOUNDARY
<br />LINES OF LOTS 6 THROUGH 9, ALL IN CITY BLOCK 51, AND
<br />DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY
<br />USE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 8,
<br />1975.
<br />Whereas, it has been brought to the attention of the City
<br />Council of the City of Paris that an alley, beginning at the West
<br />Boundary Line of 9th Street, N. W. , at the South East Corner of
<br />Lot 5, City Block 51, and the North East Corner of Lot 6, City
<br />Block 51, being 15 feet wide and extending in a Westerly direction
<br />approximately 265 feet, more or less, to the East Boundary Line of
<br />lOth Street, N. W. and the South West Corner of Lot 1, City Block
<br />51, and the North West Corner of Lot 9, City Block 51, lying adja-
<br />cent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adjacent
<br />to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 6 through 9, all in City Block
<br />51, is of no use as an alley to the City of Paris or to its citizens,
<br />and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the alley, beginning at the West Boundary
<br />Line of 9th Street, N. W. , at the South East Corner of Lot 5, City
<br />Block 51, and the North East Corner of Lot 6, City Block 51, being
<br />15 feet wide and extending in a Westerly direction approximately
<br />265 feet, more or less, to the East Boundary Line of lOth Street,
<br />N. W. and the South West Corner of Lot 1, City Block 51, and the
<br />North West Corner of Lot 9, City Block 51, lying adjacent to the
<br />South Boundary Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adjacent to the North
<br />Boundary Lines of Lots 6 through 9, all in City Block 51, is hereby
<br />closed.
<br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
<br />December 8, 1975.
<br />Passed and adopted this 8th day of December, 1975.
