ORDINANCE NO. 2264 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SUB-SECTION 12 OF SECTION 29-109(a) AND SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; PRO- VIDING FOR A TRAFFIC PARI<ING SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF SECTION 29-113 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, AND DECLARING SAME TO BE NULL AND VOID AND OF NO EFFECT; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EX- CEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1976. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Sub -Section 12 of Section 29 -109(a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "(12) At any place authorized by the Traffic No Parking Map and where official signs prohibit stopping. „ Section 2. That Section 29 -112 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 29-112. Traffic parking system. (a) Establishment. A traffic parking system for the City of Paris is hereby established, consisting of a parking map and a no parking map for the City of Paris, each of said maps being a part of this section as fully as if the same were set forth herein in detail. All parking spaces and prohibited parking areas shall be placed and marked only in accordance with these maps and amendments thereto. (b) Traffic parking map adopted. (Reserved for future use) (c) Traffic no parking map adopted. Two original, official and identical copies of the traffic no parking map are hereby adopted, bearing the signatuxe of the mayor, the attestation of the city clerk and approved as to form by the city attorney, and shall be filed and maintained as follows: (1) One copy shall be filed with the city clerk and retained as the original record and shall not be changed in any manner. (2) One copy shall be filed with the chief, Paris police department, and shall be maintained up to date by the city engineer by posting all changes in the form of subsequent amendments in enforcing the observance of said devices.
