ORDINANCE NO. 2273 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND A SPECIFIC <br />USE PERMIT, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UTILI7'IES UNLISTED (37), <br />ON A PART OF LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 281, UPON PROPERTY OF <br />WHICH SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY OWNS A <br />CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), AND <br />DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br />(C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UTILITIES <br />UNLISTED (37), SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section l. "Ihat the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial <br />District (C) and a Specific Use Permit, Public and Private Utilities <br />Unlisted (37), be, and the same are hereby established on a part of <br />Lot 4, City Block 281, upon property of which Southwestern Bell <br />Telephone Company owns a current option, so as to include in such <br />Commercial District (C) and Specific Use Permit, Public and <br />Private Utilities Unlisted (37), the hereinafter described property, <br />which was formerly and is presently designated as a Commercial <br />District (C), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District <br />(C) and Specific Use Permit, Public and Private Utilities Unlisted <br />(37), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of <br />the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being a part of a <br />6. 67 acre tract of land conveyed Granville C. Farmer <br />by deed recorded in Vol. 436, Page 379, of the Deed <br />Records of said County and State. <br />Beginning at a stake for corner in the West Boundary <br />Line of 17th N. E. at the present Northeast corner of <br />said Farmer tract of land, said point being South 1 Deg. <br />09 Min. West a distance of 339 ft. from the South <br />Boundary Line of Clement Road. <br />THENCE South 89 Deg. 15 Min. West along an <br />existing fence line a distance of 456. 5 ft. to a 12" oak <br />tree for corner at the Northwest corner of said <br />Farmer tract of land; <br />THENCE South 1 Deg. 09 Min. West a distance of <br />200 ft. to a stake for corner in the West Boundary Line <br />of said tract of land; <br />THENCE North 89 Deg. 15 Min. East a distance of <br />456. 5 ft. to a stake for corner in the present East <br />Boundary Line of said Farmer tract of land; <br />THENCE North 1 Deg. 09 Min. East along the <br />West Boundary Line of 17th N. E. a distance of 200 ft. <br />to the place of beginning and containing 91300 S. F. or <br />2. 10 acres of land. <br />Being a part of Lot 4, City Block 281, located on <br />the West Side of 17th Street, N. E. , approximately 339 <br />feet South of Clement Road. <br />
