ORDINANCE N0. 2283 . <br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS TO THE <br />EQUALIZATION BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING <br />THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EQUALIZATION <br />BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR THE MEMBERS <br />OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS: <br />Section l. That Ben Marable, W. B. Richards and Martin <br />DeVV'itt, all residents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, <br />and qualified voters and real property owners in said City, be, and <br />they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the City <br />of Paris, Paris, Texas, for the current taxable year. <br />Section 2. That the time of the meeting of said <br />Equalization Board is hereby fixed for the lst day of June, 1976. <br />Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for the <br />Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as the Council <br />Room in the City Hall in the City of Paris, Texas. <br />Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member <br />of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby <br />established at the rate of Forty ($40.00) Dollars per day, and the <br />City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to make payment <br />out of the City funds to such members at such rate of pay of <br />Forty ($40. 00) Dollars per day. <br />Section 5.
