ORDINANCE NO. 2292 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 12-1 OF <br />SAID CODE, PROVIDING FOR THE COMPOSITION OF THE PARIS <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS <br />OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 12, 1976. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS: <br />Section l. That Section 12-1 of the Code of Ordinances of <br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall <br />read as follows: <br />"Section 12-1. Composition of Department. <br />The Fire Department of the City shall be com - <br />posed of the Fire Chief and thirty-four (34) members <br />classified as follows: <br />(1) One (1) Fire Marshal, who shall serve as <br />an assistant to the Fire Chief. <br />(2) One (1) Assistant Fire Marshal and Fire <br />Training Officer. <br />(3) Two (2) Deputy Fire Chiefs. <br />(4) Six (6) Fire Engineers. <br />(5) Four (4) Firefighter-Drivers. <br />(6) Twenty (20) Firefighters. " <br />Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 3.
