ORDINA NCE N0. 2297 , <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NGING THE BOUNDA - <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON A PART OF LOT 8, CITY BLOCK <br />287, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO C. E. BEACHLEY, SO AS TO IN- <br />CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- <br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PA RIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office District (O), <br />be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 8, City Block <br />287, on property belonging to C. E. Beachley, so as to include in such <br />Office District (O) the hereinafter described property, which was <br />formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District <br />No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Office District (O), be, <br />and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being a part of Lot S, <br />City Block 287; being a part of that certain 24. 28 acre <br />tract of land, in the Joseph Leach Survey, conveyed to <br />Charles E. Beachley and wife, Joan Beachley, by a <br />warranty deed executed by Joan Barrett, Et A 1, on <br />March 15, 1976 and appearing of record in Volume 577, <br />Page 592 of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, <br />and more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the most southerly southwest corner <br />of the said 24. 28 acre tract in the north right-of-way <br />line of U. S. Highway 271, said corner being also the <br />southeast corner of a 10 acre tract located at the <br />northeast corner of 36th S. E. and U. S. Highway 271; <br />THENCE in an easterly direction along the north <br />right -of -way line of U. S. Highway 271 and along a curve <br />to the right, having a radius of 1216. 28 feet, a distance <br />of 289 feet; <br />THENCE north 35 ° east, along a diagonal line at <br />the intersection of the north right-of-way line of U. S. <br />Highway 271 and the west right-of-way line of Loop <br />Highway 286, a distance of 163 feet; <br />THENCE north 14 ° west, along the west right-of-way <br />line of Loop Highway 286, a distance of 403 feet; <br />THENCE north 21 ° 25' west, continuing along the <br />west right-of-way line of Loop Highway 286, to the point <br />of intersection of said west right-of-way line with the <br />easterly prolongation of the north boundary line of the <br />above mentioned 10 acre tract; <br />THENCE west, along the said easterly prolongation <br />of the north boundary line of said 10 acre tract, to the <br />northeast corner of the said 10 acre tract, same being <br />an inside corner of the said 24.28 acre tract; <br />THENCE south, along the east boundary line of the <br />said 10 acre tract, same being the most southerly west <br />boundary line of the said 24. 28 acre tract, a distance of <br />646. 5 feet to the place of beginning. <br />
