ORDINANCE NO. 2112 , <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2107, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 26 z-17, PROVIDING <br />FOR THE MINIMUM LIMITS OF PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIRED TO <br />BE CARRIED BY SIGN CONTRACTORS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO <br />EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCFS OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFDCTIVE DATE OF <br />NOVEMBEP, 1, 1972. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA.RIS: <br />Section l. That the last sentence of Section 262-17 of <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be <br />amended so that such shall read as follows: <br />"Section 262-17. Sign contractor's bond and liability <br />insurance. <br />In addition to the above bond, each contractor shall <br />carry public liability insurance in a company to be <br />approved by the City Attorney with minimum limits as <br />follows: $10,000.00 each person, $20,000.00 each acci- <br />dent or occasion for bodily injury and $5,000.00 for <br />property damage arising out of any one accident or <br />occasion." <br />Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of <br />this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con- <br />viction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00. <br />Section 3. A11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- <br />flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4.
