ORDINANCE NO. 2131 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TExAS, SEPARAT- <br />ING, DISANNFXING, REMOVING AND EXCLUDING FROM THE INCORPORA.TED <br />AREA OF THE CITY OF PARIS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, AN l3REA EMBRAC- <br />ING APPROXIMATELY 90.62 ACRES OF PROPERTY OWNED BY PARIS, TFxAS <br />INDUSTRIAL FOUNDATION, INC., LYING BETWEEN LOOP HIGI-iWAY 286 <br />N. W. AND WEST CENTER STREET ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE <br />OF 19TH STREET, N. W., FRONTING APPROXIMATELY 2,171.4 FEET ON <br />LOOP HIGHGVAY 286 N. W., APPROXIMATELY 1,084 FEET ON 19TH STREET, <br />N. W. AND APPROXIMATELY 2,949 FEET ON WEST CENTER STREET, SAID <br />PROPERTY BEING HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AND <br />SAID PROPERTY BEING WHOLLY UNINHABITED BY RESIDENCES OR COMMER- <br />CIAL STRUCTURES; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS OF WARD THREE OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS SO AS TO FXCLUDE THE HEREINAb'TER DFSCRIBED PRO- <br />PFRTY FROM SAID WARD; INSTRUCTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE A <br />SURVEY FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY <br />IN ACCORDANCE HEREWITH AND TO CONSTRUCT A COMPLETE MAP OF SUCH <br />TERRITORY HEREIN AND HF.FZEBY EXCLUDE,U FROM THE CORPORATE AREA OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS; AND ESTABLISHING THE CITY LIMIT LINE RFSULT- <br />ING FROM THIS DISANNEKATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section l. That the following described property presently <br />located within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar <br />County, Texas, which is wholly uninhabited, owned by Paris, Texas <br />Industrial Foundation, Inc., be, and the same is hereby separated, <br />disannexed, removed and excluded from the corporate area of said <br />City, and the boundary limits of the City of Paris are hereby <br />amended, changed and corrected, so as to exclude said territory <br />and to conform to the same as herein set out, to-wit: <br />Situated within the Corporate Liznits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of <br />the Reddin Russell Survey, an d being all of a 4.113 acre <br />tract of land conveyed Paris, Texas Industrial Foundation, <br />Inc. by deed recorded in Vol. 430, Page 437, also being a <br />part of a 87.56 acre tract of land conveyed Paris, Texas <br />Industrial Foundation, Inc. by deed recorded in Vol. 430, <br />Page 337 of the Deed Records of said County and State. <br />Beginning ata concrete marker for corner at the <br />Noxthwest corner of said 87.56 acre tract of land. <br />Thence along the East Boundary Line of 19th N. W. as <br />follows: South 7 Deg. West a distance of 285 ft.; South <br />a distance of 799 ft.; South 45 Deg. East a distance of <br />28 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />Thence along the North Boundary Lim of Center St. as <br />follows• South 89 Deg. 20 Min. East a distance of 2653 <br />ft., South 86 Deg. East a distance of 296 ft. to a stake <br />for corner, said point being 25 ft. North of the Southeast <br />corner of said 87.56 acre tract of land; <br />Thence Nor_th a distance of 818 ft. to a stake for <br />corner ; <br />Thence East a distance of 11 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />Thence North a distance of 65 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />Thence South 88 Deg.
