ORDINANCE NO. 2133 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), SPECIFIC USE, GASOLINE <br />SERVICE STATION, FIRE LIMITS, ON LOT 21A, BLOCK A, <br />JEFFERSON HEIGHTS ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />FLOYD E. BASHAM AND BILLIE GEAN BASHAM, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA- <br />RIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), SPECIFIC USE, <br />GASOLINE SERVICE STATION, FIRE LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail <br />District (GR), Specific Use, Gasoline Service Station, Fire Limits, be, <br />and the same is hereby established on Lot 21A, Block A, Jefferson <br />Heights Addition, on property belonging to Floyd E. Basham and Billie <br />Gean Basham, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR), <br />Specific Use, Gasoline Service Station, Fire Limits, the hereinafter <br />described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as <br />a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries <br />of said General Retail District (GR), Specific Use, Gasoline Service <br />Station, Fire Limits, be, and the same are hereby established as <br />follows : <br />All that certain tract or parcel of land, situated within <br />the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, <br />and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, and <br />being a part of a 2 acre tract of land conveyed Floyd Basham <br />by deed recorded in Vol. 539, Page 107, of the Deed Records <br />of said County and State. <br />Beginning at a stake for corner in the South Boundary <br />Line of Loop Highway 286 at the Northwest corner of said 2 <br />acre tract of land. <br />Thence along the South Boundary Line of Loop Highway <br />286 as follows: North 60 Deg. East a distance of 103. 7 ft. ; <br />North 64 Deg. East a distance of 61 ft. to a stake for corner <br />at the Northeast corner of said 2 acre tract of land, said <br />point being the Northwest corner of a 2 acre tract of land <br />conveyed M. L. McEwin by deed recorded in Vol. 463, Page <br />429, of said Deed Records; <br />Thence South a distance of 304 ft. to a stake for corner <br />in the West Boundary Line of said McEwin tract of land; <br />Thence West a distance of 83 ft. to a stake for corner <br />at an inner corner of said Basham tract of land; <br />Thence North 16 Deg. 15 Min. West a distance of 232 <br />ft. to the place of beginning. <br />As determined by an actual survey on the ground by <br />W. R. Abbott, Registered Public Surveyor, January 24, 1973, <br />and recorded in Lamar County Deed Record Book , Page <br />, referenced herein for all necessary purposes. <br />
