<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF
<br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA-
<br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
<br />ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, ON LOT 20,
<br />BLOCI< A, JEFFERSON HEIGHTS ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONG-
<br />ING TO M. L. McEWIN AND JEAN McEWIN, SO AS TO INCLUDE
<br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY
<br />DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
<br />RIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, SO
<br />ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail
<br />District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is hereby established on
<br />Lot 20, Block A, Jefferson Heights Addition, on property belonging to
<br />M. L. McEwin and Jean McEwin, so as to include in such General
<br />Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, the hereinafter described property,
<br />which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family
<br />Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said
<br />General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are
<br />hereby established as follows:
<br />All that certain tract or parcel of land, situated about
<br />3 1/2 miles South 53 Deg. East of the City of Paris, County
<br />of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach
<br />Survey, and being a part of a tract of land conveyed Leslie
<br />Echols by Fred Kirby as recorded in Vol. 309, Page 603, of
<br />the Deed Records of said County and State.
<br />Beginning at a stake for corner in the South Boundary
<br />Line of Loop Highway 286, said point being Northerly and
<br />Easterly a distance of 969. 6 feet from the North Boundary
<br />Line of Farm Road 1507, as measured along the South
<br />Boundary Line of said Loop Highway.
<br />Thence Easterly along the South Boundary Line of said
<br />Loop Highway along a curve to the left a distance of 210 ft.
<br />to a stake for corner;
<br />Thence South a distance of 411 ft. to a stake for corner;
<br />Thence East a distance of 71 ft. to a stake for corner,
<br />said point bei ng North a distance of 1384 ft. from the North
<br />Boundary Line of Farm Road 1507, as measured along the
<br />West Boundary Line of Monticello Drive and 200 ft. West of
<br />Monticello Drive;
<br />Thence South a distance of 86 ft. to a stake for corner;
<br />Thence West a distance of 253 ft. to a stake for corner;
<br />Thence North a distance of 392 ft. to the place of be -
<br />ginning and containing 2 acres of land.
<br />As determined by an actual survey on the ground by
<br />W. R. Abbott,Registered Public Surveyor, November 3, 1967,
<br />and recorded in Lamar County Deed Record Book , Page
<br />, referenced herein for all necessary purposes.
