ORDINANCE NO. 2135 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 1, CITY <br />BLOCK 250, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ELMER TOWERS, SO AS <br />TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District <br />(C), be, and the same is hereby established on a Part of Lot l, City <br />Block 250, on property belonging to Elmer Towers, so as to include in <br />such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which <br />was formerly and is presently designated as a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial <br />District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas; being a part of the Reddin <br />Russell Survey, Abstract No. 786; also being a part of a <br />50 acre tract of land described in Deed of Record in <br />Volume 128, Page 418, Lamar County Deed Records; said <br />9. 659 acre tract being more particularly described as <br />follows, to-wit: <br />Beginning at an Iron Pipe (found) for a corner, said <br />point being South 84 ° East, 1593 feet from the original <br />N/E corner of the 50 acre tract described in the above <br />mentioned Deed; <br />Thence East 441 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a <br />corner, said point being the S/E corner of land owned by <br />Jesse Thrasher; <br />Thence South 1° 17' East, 936. 3 feet to an Iron Pipe <br />set for a corner, said point being in the N/B/L of Clement <br />Road; <br />Thence with the N/B/L of Clement Road, North 89 ° <br />West, 462 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; <br />Thence North 928 feet to the place of beginning <br />containing 9. 659 acres of land. <br />Being a Part of Lot l, City Block 250. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and <br />he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in <br />accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br />map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of <br />this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon passage. <br />
