ORDINANCE NO. 2139 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, ON LOTS 3, <br />4, 5, 6, 7 AND 8, BLOCK 2, S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION, AND THE <br />ALLEY BETWEEN SAID LOTS, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GARRETT <br />MEMORIAL METHODIST CHURCH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br />TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE -FAMILY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT NO. 2(SF -2) AND A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT <br />(2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail <br />District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is hereby established on <br />Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 2, S. J. Wright Addition, and the <br />alley between said lots, on property belonging to Garrett Memorial <br />Methodist Church, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR), <br />Fire Limits, the hereinafter described property, which was formerly <br />and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2 <br />(SF-2) and a Two-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the boundaries <br />of said General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are <br />hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lots 3, 4 and 5, <br />Block 2, S. J. Wright Addition, fronting 150 feet on the <br />South Side of Bonham Street, and Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block <br />2, S. J. Wright Addition, fronting 150 feet on the North <br />Side of West Kaufman Street, and the alley between said <br />lots being 15 feet in width, including the alley fronting <br />275 feet on the East Side of 17th Street, S. W. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and <br />he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in <br />accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br />map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of <br />this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4.
