ORDINANCE NO. 2144 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONI ORDINANCE TOHE BOU DA- THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND ESTABLISH- RIES ESTABLISHED BY ISTRICT (C ON AA O RTAOF LOT ; 15, CITY ING A COMMERCIAL D BLOCK 170-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGIN NOTHERA D SIGNATED, ASO AS T O I N C L U D E T H E R E I N T E R R I T O R Y AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE B O U N D A- RIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by thTexas, s, Zoning Map and Ordinance e herebo ged, f and t at af Paris, PariCommercial District be, and the same a Y chn (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 15, City Block 170-A, on property belonging to Nothera Martin, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries d fol Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby estabhshed as Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being a part of the James Bourland Survey, Abstract No. 69, also being a part of a tract of land described in a deed of record in Volume 303, Page 223, Lamar County Deed Records, being more particularly described as follows : BEGINNING at an I tact sdes~ ibed innthe point e i n g t h e N/ E c o r n e r o f the tioned deed; also being a point in the W/B/L of U S Hig hway No. 24; and bei ng the S/E corner of a tract now owned by Automatic Gas Company; THENCE with the W/B/L of said Highway No. 24, South 23 °35' West, 136. 4 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; THENCE West 300 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; THENCE North 23 °35' East, 136.4 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; THENCE East 300 feet to the place of beginning, con- taining 0. 861 acres of land. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
