<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710
<br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
<br />ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS,
<br />ON A PART OF LOTS l, 2 AND 3, BLOCK 4, ANITA PARI<
<br />ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO WARD COX, SO AS TO
<br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
<br />TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217); AND DESIGNATING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE
<br />LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, '
<br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
<br />Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is hereby es-
<br />tablished on a part of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 4, Anita Park
<br />Addition, on property belonging to Ward Cox, so as to include in
<br />such General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, the hereinafter de -
<br />scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
<br />a'I~vo-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the boundaries of said
<br />General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are
<br />hereby established as follows:
<br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
<br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being the West 65 feet
<br />off of Lots l, 2 and 3, Block 4, Anita Park Addition,
<br />not heretofore zoned General Retail, at the intersection
<br />of Cleveland Street and 17th Street, S. E. , fronting 65
<br />feet on the South Side of Cleveland Street and fronting
<br />125 feet on the East Side of 17th Street, S. E.
<br />Section 2. That the C"ity Engineer of the City of Paris, be,
<br />and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of
<br />Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and
<br />the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with
<br />the provisions of this ordinance.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
<br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
<br />upon passage.
