<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF
<br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA-
<br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
<br />ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, LIMITED TO
<br />THE SPECIFIC USE OF A SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, ON
<br />LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 248-B AND ON LOT 1, BLOCK D, CROCKETT
<br />PLACE ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ROBERT S.
<br />NORMENT, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
<br />DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND
<br />DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL
<br />DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, LIMITED TO THE SPECIFIC USE OF
<br />A SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PAR IS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
<br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
<br />Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, limited to the Specific Use of a
<br />Savings and Loan Association, be, and the same is hereby establish-
<br />ed on Lot l, City Block 248 -B and on Lot l, Block D, Crockett
<br />Place Addition, on property belonging to Robert S. Norment, so as
<br />to include in such General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits,
<br />limited to the Specific Use of a Savings and Loan Association, the
<br />hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is p~esently
<br />designated as a Two-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the
<br />boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits,
<br />limited to the Specific Use of a Savings and Loan Association, be,
<br />and the same are hereby established as follows:
<br />A part of the George W. Cox Survey within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Paris, described by metes
<br />and bounds as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a stake at the intersection of the SB
<br />line of Clarksville Street with the EB line of 19th Street SE,
<br />formerly known as 35th Street;
<br />THENCE with the SB line of
<br />Southeasterly direction 175 feet, a

<br />THENCE North with said EB
<br />place of beginning.
<br />Clarksville Street in a

<br />line 320 feet to the
<br />Being Lot 1 in Block D of the Crockett Place
<br />Addition according to maps or plats of such addition re -
<br />corded in Book 1, Page 91, and Book 2, Page 114, Lamar
<br />County Plat Records, and as well the lot lying North of
<br />said Lot 1 in Block D and between it and Clarksville Street.
<br />And being Lot 1, City Block No. 248 -B.
<br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the
<br />City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning
<br />Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of
<br />Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
<br />and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
