ORDINANCE NO. 2153 , <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF - 2) ON LOTS 2 <br />AND 2B, CITY BLOCI< 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO REDUS <br />HOLMES AND WIFE, BESSIE HOLMES, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br />TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL <br />DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE- <br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a One -Family <br />Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), be, and the same is hereby establish- <br />ed on Lots 2 and 2B, City Block 318, on property belonging to Redus <br />Holmes and wife, Bessie Holmes, so as to include in such One-Family <br />Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) the hereinafter described property, <br />which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural <br />District (A), and that the boundaries of said One-Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2(SF-2), be, and the same are hereby established as <br />follows : <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas; being a part of <br />the Joseph Leach Survey; also being a part of a 2 acre <br />tract of land conveyed Redus Holmes and wife, Bessie <br />Holmes, by Irene, Thomas and Wayne McGee, dated <br />September 6, 1962, recorded in Volume 392, Page 372, <br />Lamar County Deed Records; said property being described <br />in two tracts as follows: <br />TRACT 1, Lot <br />2: BEGINNING at an iron pin set for <br />corner, said point being South 63 feet from the NE corner <br />of the tract described <br />in the above mentioned deed; <br />THENCE South <br />86 feet to an iron pipe set for a <br />corner; <br />THENCE West <br />210. 1 feet to an iron pipe set for <br />corner; <br />THENCE North <br />147 feet to an iron pipe set for <br />corner; <br />THENCE East <br />75 feet to an iron pipe set for corner; <br />THENCE South <br />63 feet to an iron pipe set for corner; <br />THENCE East <br />135 feet to the place of beginning and <br />containing .518 acres <br />of land more or less. <br />TRACT 2, Lot <br />2B: BEGINNING at an iron pipe set <br />for a corner, said point being the NE corner of the tract <br />described in the above mentioned deed; <br />THENCE West <br />135 feet to an iron pipe set for a <br />corner; <br />THENCE South <br />63 feet to an iron pipe set for a <br />corner; <br />THENCE East <br />135 feet to an iron pipe set for a <br />corner, said point being in the WBL of 34th Street NE; <br />THENCE with <br />said WBL North 63 feet to the place of <br />beginning and containi <br />ng .195 acres of land more or less. <br />
