ORDINANCE NO. 2153 , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF - 2) ON LOTS 2 AND 2B, CITY BLOCI< 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO REDUS HOLMES AND WIFE, BESSIE HOLMES, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a One -Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), be, and the same is hereby establish- ed on Lots 2 and 2B, City Block 318, on property belonging to Redus Holmes and wife, Bessie Holmes, so as to include in such One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), be, and the same are hereby established as follows : Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas; being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey; also being a part of a 2 acre tract of land conveyed Redus Holmes and wife, Bessie Holmes, by Irene, Thomas and Wayne McGee, dated September 6, 1962, recorded in Volume 392, Page 372, Lamar County Deed Records; said property being described in two tracts as follows: TRACT 1, Lot 2: BEGINNING at an iron pin set for corner, said point being South 63 feet from the NE corner of the tract described in the above mentioned deed; THENCE South 86 feet to an iron pipe set for a corner; THENCE West 210. 1 feet to an iron pipe set for corner; THENCE North 147 feet to an iron pipe set for corner; THENCE East 75 feet to an iron pipe set for corner; THENCE South 63 feet to an iron pipe set for corner; THENCE East 135 feet to the place of beginning and containing .518 acres of land more or less. TRACT 2, Lot 2B: BEGINNING at an iron pipe set for a corner, said point being the NE corner of the tract described in the above mentioned deed; THENCE West 135 feet to an iron pipe set for a corner; THENCE South 63 feet to an iron pipe set for a corner; THENCE East 135 feet to an iron pipe set for a corner, said point being in the WBL of 34th Street NE; THENCE with said WBL North 63 feet to the place of beginning and containi ng .195 acres of land more or less.
