ORDINANCE NO. 2158 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON A PART OF LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 354, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MACK METTS AND JAMES D. HOWELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Neighborhood Service District (NS), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 4, City Block 354, on property belonging to Mack Metts and James D. Howell, so as to include in such Neighborhood Service District (NS) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently de- signated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Neighborhood Service District (NS), be, and the same are hereby es - tablished as follows: All that certain tract or parcel of land situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas; being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, Abstract No. 524; said tract also being a part of Lot 4 of Block No. 354; also being a part of a 50 acre tract described in a deed to Elizabeth Harris Smith, of record in Vol. 422, Page 238, Lamar County Deed Records; said l. 634 acre tract being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at an Iron Pipe set for a corner, said point being the point of intersection of the EBL of Loop 286 and the NBL of the old Paris & Mt. Pleasant Railway Company right -of -way; said point also being the SW corner of Lot 4, of City Block No. 354; THENCE with the EBL of said Loop 286 right-of-way, North 0°45' East, 348. 1 feet to an iron pipe set for a corner, said point being the NW corner of Lot 4; THENCE East 184. 5 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; THENCE South 413. 2 feet to an Iron Pipe set for a corner; THEN CE along said right -of -way, North 71 ° West, 200 feet to the place of beginning, containing 1. 634 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
