ORDINANCE NO. 2159 . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON LOT 8, CITY BLOCI< 286, ON PRO- <br />PERTY BELONGING TO JOHN W. BIARD AND LAWRENCE McDOWELL, <br />SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED <br />AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIG- <br />NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ES- <br />TABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PAR IS : <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office I?istrict (O), <br />be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 8, City Block 286, on <br />property belonging to John W. Biard and Lawrence McDowell, so as to <br />include in such Office District (O), the hereinafter described property, <br />which was formerly and is presently designated as a One -Family <br />Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said <br />Office District (O), be, and the same are hereby established as <br />follows: <br />A part of the George W. Cox Survey within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Paris, described by metes <br />and bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake in the NBL of Lamar Avenue <br />at its intersection with the EBL of 30th St. , N. E. , for- <br />merly Spain Street; <br />THENCE with the NBL of Lamar Avenue, 87 ° 10 min. <br />West 100 feet, a stake; <br />THENCE North 203 f.eet; <br />THENCE East 100 feet to the WBL of 30th St. , N. E. ; <br />THEN CE South 208 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the <br />City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map <br />of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance <br />No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br />accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon passage. <br />
