ORDINANCE NO. 2160 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 2-A, CITY BLOCK 281, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO NORRIS McDOWELL AND GLENN WATSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DE- SIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3(SF-3); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 2-A, City Block 281, on property belonging to Norris McDowell and Glenn Watson, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the herein- after described property, which was formerly and is presently desig- nated as a One -Family Dwelling District No. 3(SF -3), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated in the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas, and being a part of Lot 2, City Block 281, and also being a part of the Redding Russell Survey, and a part of a 16. 8 acre tract of land conveyed to the City of Paris by E. W. Lovell and wife, Anne Lovell, by deed, as recorded in Volume 238, Page 621, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West Boundary Line of said City of Paris tract of land, said point being 50 ft. South of the Center Line of Clement Road. 'Ihence South along the West Boundary Line of said City of Paris tract a distance of 534 ft. to a point. Said point being the Southwest Corner of the City of Paris tract described in Volume 238, Page 621, Deed Records of Lamar County; Thence South 89 °30` E a distance of 155 ft. to a point 22 ft. West of the West R. O. W. of 12th N. E. St. ; Thence North a distance of 534 ft. to a point in the South R. O. W. of Clement Road, and being 50 ft. South of the center line of said Clement Road; Thence N 89 °30' W a distance of 155 ft. to the point of beginning, containing an area of 1. 9 acres of land. Being described in accordance with an actual survey made on the ground under the supervision of John W. Cooke, Registered Engineer of Texas, No. 11081, on the 30th day of April, 1973. Said property now designated Lot 2-A, City Block 281.
