ORDINANCE NO. 2169 . AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 1548.12 ACRES, 1544.45 ACRES OF WHICH IS OWNED BY THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE STATE OF TEXAS AND IS USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE, AND 3. 67 ACRES. WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CENT (10%) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, ALL OF WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRE- SENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS. WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described territory: TRACT l: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the John W. Williams, John Skidmore, R. G. Miller, William Scott, and H. B. D avis Surveys, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 50 feet North of F. M. Highway No. 1508 C/L Sta. 35+70. 3, and being in the City Limits line described by City Ordinance No. 2162, dated August 13, 1973; THENCE N 80° 30' E parallel and 50 feet North of said Highway C/L a distance of 442. 0 feet to a point, said point being 50 feet North of F. M. Highway No. 1508 C/L Sta. 40+12. 3 and the beginning of a curve to the right, which has a radius of 5, 779. 65 feet, degree of 0° 59' and intersection angle of 9 ° 22' ; THENCE along said F. M. Highway No. 1508 and curve to the right being 50 feet North of and radial with said C/L a distance of 944. 84 feet to the end of said curve; THENCE N 89 ° 52' E a distance of 739. 1 feet to a point in the East R. O. W. of F. M. Highway No. 1508 and the West Boundary Line of a tract of land owned by the City of Paris, Lamar County Records, Volume 208, Page 287, and known as Cox Field; THENCE N 1° 40' E with the East R. O. W. of F. M. Highway No. 1508 a distance of 4622. 8 feet to the Southwest Corner of a 10 acre tract conveyed AGPRO, INC. ; THENCE S 87 ° 58' 40" East a distance of 400 feet to the Southeast Corner of said 10 acre tract; THENCE N 1° 40' E a distance of 190 feet to a point; THENCE N 2° 40' E a distance of 347.3 feet to a point; THENCE N 1° 31' 30" E a distance of 504. 5 feet to a point; THENCE N 10 48' 20" E a distance of 188. 4 feet to a point, the North Boundary Line of Cox Field.
