ORDINANCE NO. 2175 , AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN UNNAMED STREET, BEGINNING AT THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF RECORD PARK, LYING NOR TH OF LOT 3 AND SOUTH OF LOT 11, CITY BLOCK 251A, THE SOUTH BOUNDARY L1NE OF THE SAME BEING 303 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF HENDERSON STREET, RUNNING EAST 505 FEET, SAID STREET APPEARING ON PAGES 17 AND 18 OF THE TAX MAPS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID STREET FOR CITY USE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUA.RY 14, 1974. WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that an unnamed street, which appears on the City Tax Maps of the City of Paris, on Pages 17 and 18, beginning at the East Boundary Line of Record Park, lying North of Lot 3 and South of Lot 11, City Block 251A, the South Boundary Line of the same being 303 feet North of the North Boundary Line of Henderson Street, running East 505 feet, has never been used as a street and is of no use as a street to the City of Paris and its citizens, and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAR IS: Section 1. That the unnamed street, appearing on Pages 17 and 18 of the Tax Maps of the City of Paris, beginning at the East Boundary Line of Record Park, lying North of Lot 3 and South of Lot 11, City Block 251A, the South Boundary Line of the same being 303 feet North of the North Boundary Line of Henderson Street, running East 505 feet, and situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being more particularly described as follows, t0-Wlt: BEGINNING at a point in the west boundary line of Northwest Third Street, said point being North 2° 39' West a distance of 301. 0 feet from the intersection of the west boundary line of Northwest Third Street and the north boundary line of West Henderson Street, said point also being the Northeast corner of a 3. 518 acre tract of land, conveyed to the Texas Highway Department by deed of record in Volume 550, Page 764, of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; THENCE South 86° 40' West along the north boundary line of the said 3. 518 acre tract a distance of 505. 6 feet to the Northwest corner of the said tract, in the east boundary line of Record Park; THENCE North 2° 53' West along the east boundary line of Record Park a distance of 40. 0 feet to the Southwest corner of a 6. 33 acre tract of land conveyed to the Texas Highway Department by deed of record in Volume 323, Page 435, of said Deed Records; THENCE North 86 ° 40' East along the south boundary line of the said 6. 33 acre tract and a 4. 46 acre tract of land conveyed to the Texas Highway Departmal t by Deed of Record in Volume 313, Page 59, of said Deed Records, a distance of 505. 6 feet to the intersection of the south boundary line of the said 4. 46 acre tract and the west boundary line of NorthwestThird Street; THENCE South 2°39' East along the west boundary line of Northwest Third Street a distance of 40. 0 feet to the place of beginning, containing 0.464 acre of land.
