ORDINANCE NO. 2181 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN EXPRESSWAY SERVICE STATION DISTRICT (ESS) ON LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 354, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GRADY TODD, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNAT- ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE EXPRESSWAY SERVICE STATION DISTRICT (ESS) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAR IS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Expressway Service Station District (ESS), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 5, City Block 354, on property belonging to Grady Todd, so as to include in such Expressway Service Station District (ESS) the herein- after described property, which was formerly and is presently desig- nated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Expressway Service Station District (ESS), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated about 2. 5 miles S. E. from Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, and being Lot 5, City Block 354, said lot being a triangle which fronts 371. 3 feet on the South Side of U. S. Highway 271 East and is bounded on the East by the City Limit Line of the City of Paris, said leg being 750 feet, the West Boundary Line being a common boundary line with Lot l, City Block 354 and being 975 feet, and has located thereon a portion of the parking lot of Woodall's 271 Truck Stop. Section 2. The Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
