ORDINANCE NO. 2183 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 248B, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LOWRY CARRINGTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNAT ED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office District (O), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 2, City Block 248B, on property belonging to Lowry Carrington, so as to in- clude in such Office District (O), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Two-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the boundaries of said Office District (O), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, within the George W. Cox Survey, being Lot 2, City Block 248B, and being further described as follows: Beginning at a point in the South R. O. W. of Clarksville Street, said point being 185 feet, more or less, Southeast from the intersection of the East R. O. W. of 19th Street S. E. and the South R. O. W. of Clarksville St. , said point also being the North West corner of said tract of land; Thence in a Southeasterly direction with the South R. O. W. of Clarksville St. 100 ft. to a point; Thence South 190 ft. to a point; Thence WLst 87. 3 ft. to a point; Thence North 240 ft. to the point of beginning and located at 1954 Clarksville Street. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
