<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
<br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
<br />ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) AND SPECIFIC
<br />USE PERMIT, ANIMAL SLAUGHTERING PLANT (29), ON LOT 2-A,
<br />CITY BLOCK 281, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO BILLY ROY BROWN,
<br />SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED
<br />AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
<br />RIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRLAL DISTRICT (LI) AND SPECIFIC USE
<br />PERMIT, ANIMAL SLAUGHTERING PLANT (29), SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light Industrial
<br />District (LI) and Specific Use Permit, Animal Slaughtering Plant (29),
<br />be, and the same are hereby established on Lot 2-A, City Block 281,
<br />on property belonging to Billy Roy Brown, so as to include in such
<br />Light Industrial District (LI) and Specific Use Permit, Animal
<br />Slaughtering Plant (29), the hereinafter described property, which was
<br />formerly and is presently designated as a Commercial District (C),
<br />and that the boundaries of said Light Industrial District (LI) and
<br />Specific Use Permit, Animal Slaughtering Plant (29), be, and the same
<br />are hereby established as follows:
<br />Situated in the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris,
<br />County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of
<br />Lot 2, City Block 281, and also being a part of the Redding
<br />Russell Survey, and a part of a 16. 8 acre tract of land
<br />conveyed to the City of Paris by E. W. Lovell and wife,
<br />Anne Lovell, by deed, as recorded in Vol. 238, Page 621,
<br />Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more
<br />particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a point in the West Boundary Line of
<br />said City of Paris tract of land, said point being 50 feet
<br />South of the Center Line of Clement Road;
<br />THENCE South along the West Boundary Line of said
<br />City of Paris tract a distance of 534 feet to a point. Said
<br />point being the Southwest corner of the City of Paris
<br />tract described in Vol. 238, Page 621, Deed Records of
<br />Lamar County;
<br />THENCE South 89 ° 30' E a distance of 155 feet to a
<br />point 22 feet West of the West R. O. W. of 12th N. E. Street;
<br />THENCE North a distance of 534 feet to a point in the
<br />South R. O. W. of Clement Road, and being 50 feet South of
<br />the Center Line of said Clement Road;
<br />THENCE N 89 ° 30' W a distance of 155 feet to the
<br />point of beginning, containing an area of 1. 9 acres of land.
<br />Being described in accordance with an actual survey
<br />made on the ground under the supervision of John W. Cooke,
<br />Registered Professional Engineer of Texas, No. 11081, on
<br />the 30th day of April, 1973.
<br />Said property now designated Lot 2-A, City Block 281.
<br />Being No. 1150 Clement Road.
