<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
<br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
<br />ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT 3A,
<br />CITY BLOCI< 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HAROLD DEAN
<br />KIRTLEY AND WIFE, BOBBIE JOYCE KIRTLEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE
<br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICUL-
<br />TURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
<br />THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PA R IS:
<br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
<br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
<br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on
<br />Lot 3A, City Block 318, on property belonging to Harold Dean Kirtley
<br />and wife, Bobbie Joyce Kirtley, so as to include in such General
<br />Retail D.istrict (GR), the hereinafter described property, which was
<br />formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A),
<br />and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and
<br />the same are hereby established as follows:
<br />All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
<br />situated in Lamar County, Texas, described as follows, to-ivit:
<br />A part of the Joseph Leach Survey and of a tract of
<br />land conveyed by E. J. Bray et al to R. A. Ingram on June 6,
<br />1901 by deed recorded in Book 98, Page 446, Lamar County
<br />Deed Records, and being also the South Half of the one acre
<br />tract of land conveyed by Ed Abney to W. A. Kirtley on
<br />June 12, 1942, by deed recorded in Book 264, Page 114, Lamar
<br />County Deed Records, described by metes and bounds as
<br />follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a stake in the EB line of said Abney-
<br />Kirtley tract of land at the SE corner of the .5 acre tract
<br />of land conveyed by W. A. Kirtley and wife, Faye Beatrice
<br />Kirtley, to Redus Holmes and wife, Bessie Mae Holmes on
<br />September 4, 1957, by deed recorded in Book 355, Page 153,
<br />Lamar County Deed Records;
<br />THENCE South 105 feet, a stake at the SE corner of
<br />the above mentioned Abney-Kirtley tract of land;
<br />THENCE West with its SB line 210 feet, a stake at
<br />its SW corner;
<br />THENCE North 105 feet, a stake at the SW corner
<br />of the above mentioned Kirtley-Holmes .5 acre tract of land;
<br />THENCE East with its SB line 210 feet to the place of
<br />beginning;
<br />Be.ing the same property conveyed in the deed dated
<br />April 13, 1972 from W. A. Kirtley and wife, Faye B. Kirtley,
<br />to Harold Dean Kirtley and wife, Bobby Joyce Kirtley, of
<br />record in Vol. 561, Page 510, Deed Records of Lamar
<br />County, Texas, reference being made to the above mentioned
<br />instruments and records for all necessary purposes.
<br />Being Lot 3A, City Block 318 and being No. 1105
