<br />AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY, BEGINNING AT THE
<br />EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 15TH STREET, S. E, , AT THE SOUTH
<br />WEST CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK B, P. J. WILLIS & BROS. SUB-
<br />DIVISION, AND THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF LOT 6, BLOCK B,
<br />P. J. WILLIS & BROS. SUBDIVISION, BEING 13 FEET WIDE AND
<br />EXTENDING IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION 498 FEET, MORE OR
<br />LESS, TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 17TH STREET, S. E.
<br />AND THE SOUTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 5, BLOCK B, P. J. WILLIS
<br />& BROS. SUBDIVISION, AND THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 10,
<br />BLOCI< B, P. J. WILLIS & BROS. SUBDIVISION, LYING ADJACENT TO
<br />THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINES OF LOTS 1 THROUGH 5 AND ADJA-
<br />CENT TO THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINES OF LOTS 6 THROUGH 10,
<br />ALL IN BLOCI< B OF THE P. J. WILLIS & BROS. SUBDIVISION, RE-
<br />CORDED BOOK 86, PAGE 86, DEED RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTY,
<br />TEXAS, AND DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY
<br />FOR CITY USE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
<br />OCTOBER 14, 1974.
<br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
<br />Council of the City of Paris that an alley, beginning at the East
<br />Boundary Line of 15th Street, S. E. , at the South West Corner of
<br />Lot 1, Block: B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, and the North West
<br />Corner of Lot 6, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, being 13
<br />feet wide and extending in an Easterly direction 498 feet, more or
<br />less, to the West Boundary Line of 17th Street, S. E. and the South
<br />East Corner of Lot 5, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision,
<br />and the North East Corner of Lot 10, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros.
<br />Subdivision, lying adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 1
<br />through 5 and adj acent to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 6 through
<br />10, all in Block B of the P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, recorded
<br />Book 86, Page 86, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, is of no use
<br />as an alley to the City of Paris or to its citizens, and the City Council
<br />so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the alley, beginning at the East Boundary Line
<br />of 15th Street, S. E. , at the South West Corner of Lot 1, Block B,
<br />P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, and the North West Corner of Lot 6,
<br />Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, being 13 feet wide and ex-
<br />tending in an Easterly direction 498 feet, more or less, to the West
<br />Boundary Line of 17th Street, S. E. and the South East Corner of
<br />Lot 5, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros.Subdivisioq and the North East
<br />Corner of Lot 10, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, lying
<br />adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adja-
<br />cent to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 6 through 10, all in Block B
<br />of the P. J. Willis Subdivision, recorded Book 86, Page 86, Deed
<br />Records, Lamar County, Texas, is hereby closed.
<br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
<br />October 14, 1974.
