ORDIiVANCE NO. 2012 _ AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXE3TION OF CEZTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRBCTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section l. That on the lOth day of May, 1971, at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Council Room of the City Hall of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the following described property: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point that is 600 feet South of the center line of the outside lane of Loop Highway 286, and is also 600 feet West of and parallel to the center line of F. M. Highway 1507. Said point being in the present city limit line as established by Ordinance No. 1816 dated February 3, 1967. THENCE in a Southeasterly direction and at 600 feet parallel to th e center line of F. M. Highway 1507 to a point of intersection with an extension of a line being 600 feet East of and parallel to the center line of F. M. Highway 905; THEIVC E in a Northerly direction along said line, an extension thereof being 600 feet East of and parallel to the center line of F. M. Highway 905 to a point in the present city limit line, said point being 40 feet West of the most Eastern South Ea,st Corner of city limits as established by Ordinance No. 1816 dated February 3, 1967; THENCE West along existing city limit line a dis- tance of 640 feet to a concrete marker West where the boundary line of F. M. Highway 905 meets the South Boun dary Line of Loop Highway 286; THENCE North 52° 34' West along the South Boundary Line of said Loop Highway a distance of 305.3 feet to a concrete marker; THENCE Southwest along the South Boundary Line of said Loop Highway 286 a distance of 1767.9 feet to a point; THENCE South 32° 56' West a distance of 150.5 feet to a point where the West Boundary Line of F. M. Highway 1507 meets the South Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286, said point being in the present city limit line; THENCE South and East along the West Boundary Line of F. M. Highway 1507 and the present city limits to a point that is 600 feet parallel to the center line of Loop Highway 286 and is also the most Southern South East Corner of the city limits as established by Ordinance N.o. 1816 dated February 3, 1967; THENC E West along existing city limit line to the place of beginning.
