At the City Council meeting of June 28, 2010, City Council <br />elected to have the terms begin July 1 and end June 30 of each year allowing new Council Members to <br />be involved in the selection process. <br />The open appointment process was advertised on radio stations, The Paris News, and the City's web- <br />site.
