ORDINANCE NO. 2025 . AN ORDINANC E FIXING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PRO- PF.RTY ON 27TH STREET, N. W., FROM THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF ~ BONHAP'I STREET TO THE gJUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF GRAHAM STREET, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS; DIRDCTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THREE (3) TIMFS IN THE PARIS NEWS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF SUCH STR EET IMPROVEMENTS AS FILED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; FIX- ING THE CHARGES TO BE ASSFSSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE INTFNTION OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY AND AGAINST THE SAID PROPERTY ITSELF. Whereas, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, hereby finds and determines: l. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the lOth day of May, 1971, determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of 27th Street, N. W., from the North Boundary Line of Bonham Street to the South Boundary Line of Graham Street, by installation of a gravel base and a double seal of asphalt penetration surfacing, including a con- crete valley gutter at West Houston Street, and according to the plans and specif ications prepared by the Director of Public Works. 2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above described ordinance has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the County in which said City of Paris is situated. 3. That the City Council has caused the Director of Public Works to prepare and file estimates of the costs of such improvements and estimates of the amounts per front foot to be assessed against the property abutting said street within the limits defined and the real and true owners thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TFXAS: Section 1. The date for public hearing before the City Council of the abutting property owners on the above described property is hereby fixed at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 12th day of July, 1971. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish in the Paris News, notice of the public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public hearing, the first of said notices to be pub- lished at leasttwenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the public hearing, as required by law.
