ORDINANCE NO. 2039 ,
<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TFXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES FS-
<br />TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
<br />GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, ON LOT l, CITY
<br />BLOCK 226B, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ED THOMAS, SO AS TO IN-
<br />CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DFSIQVATED AS A ONE-FAMILY
<br />DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
<br />RIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, SO
<br />ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS :
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
<br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
<br />General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is
<br />hereby established on Lot l, City Block 226B, on property be-
<br />longing to Ed Thomas, so as to include in such General Retail
<br />District (GR), Fire Limits, the hereinafter described property,
<br />which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family
<br />Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said
<br />General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are
<br />hereby established as follows:
<br />Situated within the corporate limits of the
<br />City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being
<br />Lot 1, City Block 226B.
<br />Section 2. That the City_Ehgineer of the City of Paris,
<br />be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
<br />City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
<br />No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
<br />accordance with the provisions o.f this ordinance.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
<br />conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
<br />diately upon passage.
<br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
<br />Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
<br />Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of August, 1971.
