<br />AN ORDINANCE CLOSING SYCAMORE STREET, FROM THE WFST
<br />BOUNDARY LINE OF 6TH STREET, S. E., WFST 115 FEET TO THE SOUTH
<br />WEST CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, AND THE NORTH WEST CORNFR OF
<br />LOT 1, BLOCK 9, OF THE TEXEIS A,ND PACIFIC RAILWAY COMPANy
<br />ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, SAID STREET APPEARING IN THE
<br />PLAT OF SAID ADDITION, RECORDED IN BOOK 53, PAGE 445, DEED
<br />RDCORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS; DDCLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED
<br />FOR SAID STRE,ET FOR CITY USE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE OF SEPTEMBER 13, 1971.
<br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
<br />City Council of the City of Paris that a street, Sycamore Street,
<br />as shown in the plat of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company
<br />Addition to the City of Paris, recorded in Book 53, Page 445,
<br />Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, from the West Boundary Line
<br />of 6th Street, S. E., West 115 feet to the South West Corner of
<br />Lot 1, Block l, and the North West Corner of Lot 1, Block 9, of
<br />the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to the City of
<br />Paris, has never been used as a street and is of no use as a
<br />street to the City of Paris and its citizens, and the City
<br />Council so finds; NOW, THEZEFORE,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PAR IS , TEXAS :
<br />Section 1. That Sycamore Street, from the West Boundary
<br />Line of 6th Street, S. E. , West 115 feet to the South West
<br />Corner of Lot l, Block 1, and the North West Corner of Lot l,
<br />Block 9, of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to
<br />the City of Paris, as shown in the plat of Texas and Pacific
<br />Railway Company Addition to the City of Paris, recorded in
<br />Book 53, Page 445, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, is hereby
<br />closed.
<br />Section 2. That this ordinance shall become effective on
<br />September 135 1971.
<br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of September, 1971.
