ORDINANCE NO, 2049 _ AN ORDINANC E SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNFxATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXf3S, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRDCTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIG HEARING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA.RISI PAR I S, T FXAS : Section 1. That on the 11th day of October, 1971, at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Council Room of the City Hall of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the following described property: TRACT 1 • ~=uated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Ea,st Boundary Line of the Stillhouse Road that is the present South West Corner of a tract of land conveyed Richard B. Swint and wife, Susan Brown Swint, by Bessie Lee Haynes, et al, by deed recorded Book 526, Page 880, Deed Records, La,mar County, Texas; said point being in the present North City Limit Line as established by Ordinance No. 1666, dated April 13, 1964. THENCE S 60° E with the South Boundary Line of said Swint tract and the present city limit line to an ell corner in said City Limit Line at 300 feet and con- tinuing S 60° E with the Swint South Boundary Line to his South East Corner, in all a distance of 1337 feet; THENC E North a distance of 1357 feet with Swint's East Bounda,ry Line to his North East Corner; THENCE N 89° 40' W a distance of 672 feet to Swint's North West Corner and the East Boundary Line of Stillhouse Road; THENCE N 55° W a distance o.f 80 feet across Stillhouse Road to a point in the West Boundary Line of said Road; THENCE S 35° W with the West Boundary Line of Stillhouse Road to a point in the present city limit line as established by Ordinance No. 1666; THENCE S 60° E along said present city limit line, crossing Stillhouse Road, a distance of 80 feet to the place of beginning and containing 24.95 acres.
