ORDINANCE N0. 2054 <br />ORDINANCE CALLING A REVENUE BOND EI.ECTION <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS . <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR , <br />CITY OF PARIS , <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it advis- <br />able to issue the bonds of said City for the purpose hereinafter <br />stated; and <br />WHEREAS, it is hereby officially found and determined: <br />that a case of emergency or urgent public necessity exists which <br />requires the holding of the meeting at which this Ordinance is <br />passed, such emergency or urgent public necessity being that the <br />proceeds from the proposed bonds are required as soon as possible <br />and without delay for necessary and urgently needed public im- <br />provements; that said meeting was open to the public, and public <br />notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting was given, <br />al1 as required by Vernon's Anno Civ. St, Article 6252-17. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />1. That an election shall be held in said City on the <br />16th day of November, 1971, in the several regular Election <br />Precincts of said City, and at the several regular Polling <br />Places, as hereinafter set forth; and the following election <br />officers are hereby appointed to hold said election at each of <br />said Polling Places, respectively: <br />In Ward No. 1 at the Central Fire Station, with <br />W. J. Johnson, Presiding Judge, and <br />Mrs. R. H. Lower, Alternate Presiding Judgea <br />In Ward Noo 2 at the Grand Hotel Lobby, with <br />Mrs. Hugh Collins, Presiding Judge, and <br />Mrso Elizabeth Tompkins, Alternate Presiding.Judge. <br />In Ward No. 3 at the Lamar County Courthouse, with <br />Mrso W. S. Biard, Presiding Judge, and <br />Mrso Fred Shaeffer, Alternate Presiding Judgeo <br />In Ward No, 4 at the Paris High School Gymnasium, with <br />Mrso H. L. Hollis, Presiding Judge, and <br />Mrs. Sam Ausmus, Alternate Presiding Judge. <br />
