ORDINANCE N0. 2054 ORDINANCE CALLING A REVENUE BOND EI.ECTION THE STATE OF TEXAS . COUNTY OF LAMAR , CITY OF PARIS , WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it advis- able to issue the bonds of said City for the purpose hereinafter stated; and WHEREAS, it is hereby officially found and determined: that a case of emergency or urgent public necessity exists which requires the holding of the meeting at which this Ordinance is passed, such emergency or urgent public necessity being that the proceeds from the proposed bonds are required as soon as possible and without delay for necessary and urgently needed public im- provements; that said meeting was open to the public, and public notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting was given, al1 as required by Vernon's Anno Civ. St, Article 6252-17. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: 1. That an election shall be held in said City on the 16th day of November, 1971, in the several regular Election Precincts of said City, and at the several regular Polling Places, as hereinafter set forth; and the following election officers are hereby appointed to hold said election at each of said Polling Places, respectively: In Ward No. 1 at the Central Fire Station, with W. J. Johnson, Presiding Judge, and Mrs. R. H. Lower, Alternate Presiding Judgea In Ward Noo 2 at the Grand Hotel Lobby, with Mrs. Hugh Collins, Presiding Judge, and Mrso Elizabeth Tompkins, Alternate Presiding.Judge. In Ward No. 3 at the Lamar County Courthouse, with Mrso W. S. Biard, Presiding Judge, and Mrso Fred Shaeffer, Alternate Presiding Judgeo In Ward No, 4 at the Paris High School Gymnasium, with Mrso H. L. Hollis, Presiding Judge, and Mrs. Sam Ausmus, Alternate Presiding Judge.
