ORDINANCE NO. 2080 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXE1S, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS FS- <br />TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 321, <br />ON PROPEFZTY BII..ONGING TO O. L. RAINEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br />TERRITORY FORMIIRLY DFSIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); <br />AND DESIGNATING THE BOUND4RIFS OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br />Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established <br />on a part of Lot 2, City Block 321, on property belonging to <br />O. L. Rainey, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) <br />the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br />presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that <br />the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, an d the <br />same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of <br />the Hiram Williams Survey, and being a part of a tract <br />of land conveyed O. L. Rainey by deed recorded in Vol. <br />395, Page 226, of the Deed Records of said County and <br />State. <br />Beginning at a stake for corner at the Northwest <br />corner of a 0.58 acre tract of land conveyed the Lone <br />Star Gas Co. by deed recorded in Vol. 370, Page 356, <br />of said Deed Records. <br />Thence South 3 Deg. West a distance of 112.3 ft. <br />to a stake for corner at the Southwest corner of said <br />0.58 acre tract of land; <br />Thence South 45 Deg. West a distance of 50 ft. to <br />a stake at the Southwest corner of a tract of land <br />conveyed the Lone Star Gas Co. by deed recorded in <br />Vol. 319, Page 290, of said Deed Records; <br />Thence South 45 Deg. East a distance of 120 ft. <br />to a concrete marker for corner; <br />Thence along the North Boundary Line of Loop <br />Highway 286 as follows: South 38 Deg. West a distance <br />of 18.6 ft. to a concrete marker; South 79 Deg. West a <br />distance of 98 ft. to a concrete marker; North 75 Deg. <br />West a distance of 199 ft. to a stake for corner at the <br />present Southwest corner of said Rainey tract of land; <br />Thence North 2 Deg. 30 Min. East a distance of <br />488 ft. to a stake for corner, said point being 300 ft. <br />South of the South Boundary Line of Spur Highway 139; <br />Thence South 88 Deg. 45 Min. East a distance of <br />234 ft. to a stake for corner in the Ea.st Boundary Line <br />of said Rainey tract of land, said point being 300 ft. <br />South of the South Boundary Line of Spur Highway 139; <br />Thence South a distance of 268 ft. to the place of <br />beginning and containing 2.90 acres of land. <br />Said tract being all of the property outside of the <br />above described tract not heretofore zoned Commercial <br />(C ) . <br />
