<br />AN ORDINANC E AMENDING ZONING ORDINANC E NO. 1710 OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES-
<br />TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
<br />PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOT 4, CITY
<br />BLOCK 299, LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 349, LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 350, LOTS
<br />1, 22 4 AND 7, CITY BLOCK 351, LOTS 2 AND 5, CITY SLOCK 352,
<br />AND LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 253-E, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO PARIS
<br />JUNIOR COLLEGE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
<br />DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A) AND A ONE-FAMILY
<br />DWFLLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES
<br />OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI ) SO FS-
<br />TABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
<br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
<br />Public Lands and Institutions District (PLI), be, and the same
<br />is hereby established on Lot 4, City Block 299, Lot 2, City
<br />Block 349, Lot 2, City Block 350, Lots l, 22 4 and 7, City
<br />Block 351, Lots 2 and 5, City Block 352, and Lot 6, City Block
<br />253-E, on property belonging to Paris Junior College, so as to
<br />include in such Public Lands and Institutions District (PLI)
<br />the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
<br />presently designated as an Agricultural District (A) and a
<br />One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the bounda-
<br />ries of said Public Lands an d Institutions District (PLI), be,
<br />and the same are hereby established as follows:
<br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City
<br />of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lot 4, City
<br />Block 299, Lot 2, City Block 349, Lot 2, City Block
<br />350, Lots l, 2, 4 and 7, City Block 351, Lots 2 and 5,
<br />City Block 352, and Lot 6, City Block 253-E.
<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
<br />be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
<br />City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
<br />No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
<br />accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
<br />conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
<br />diately upon passage.
<br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
<br />Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
<br />Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of April, 1972.
