ORDINANCE NO. 2087 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBF.FZS TO THE EQUAI.IZATION <br />BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, TO SERVE FOR THE <br />CURRENT TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEET- <br />ING OF THE EQUALIZATION BOARD, FSTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR <br />THE MEMBFRS OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING FOR AN Fk'FBCTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That Ben Marable, W. B. Richards and Martin <br />DeWitt, all residents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, <br />and qualified voters and real property owners in said City, be, <br />and they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of <br />the City of Paris for the current taxable year. <br />Section 2. That the time of the meeting of said <br />Equalization Board is hereby fixed for the lst day of June, <br />1972. <br />Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for the <br />Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as the <br />Council Room in the City Hall in the City of Paris, Texas. <br />Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed mem- <br />ber of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is <br />hereby established at the rate of Thirty ($30.00) Dollars per <br />day, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />make payment out of the City funds to such members at such <br />rate of pay of Thir ty ($30. 00 ) Dollar s per day. <br />Section 5.
