ORDINANCE NO. 1900 ,
<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS lES-
<br />TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
<br />LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON A TRACT OF LAND LYING AD-
<br />JACENT TO THE NORTH EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF N. E. LOOP 286, AND
<br />BEING LOT 3 IN CITY BLOCK 317, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO EDMOND
<br />A. PARHAM, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DFSIG-
<br />NATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE
<br />BOUNDARIFS OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO FSTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS:
<br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
<br />by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
<br />Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the saxne is hereby es-
<br />tablished on a tract of land lying adjacent to the North East
<br />Boundary Line of N. E. Loop 286, and being Lot 3 in City B:1ock
<br />317, on property belonging to Edmond A. Parham, so as to include
<br />in such Light Industrial District (LI) the hereinafter described
<br />property, which was formerly aid is presently designated as an
<br />Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of the said
<br />Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same are hereby es-
<br />tablished as follows:
<br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
<br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach
<br />and Enoch Crow Surveys, and being a part of a 43.196
<br />acre tract of land conveyed by Harry L. Baker, Jr.,
<br />Et Al, to Cy L. Wright, by deed dated March 15, 1966,
<br />recorded Book 442, Page 410, Deed Records, Lamar County,
<br />Texas.
<br />Beginning at the most Westerly North West Corner of
<br />said Wright tract of land, the same being in the East
<br />Boundary Line of Loop 286;
<br />Thence South 88 Degrees, 30 Minutes East, a distance
<br />of 600 feet;
<br />Thence South 22 Degrees, 9 Minutes East, 295 feet;
<br />Thence South 21 Degrees, 55 Minutes Ea,st, 100 feet;
<br />Thence South 19 Degrees, 58 Minutes East, 73 feet to
<br />a point;
<br />Thence West 600 feet to a stake for corner in the
<br />Ea.st Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286;
<br />Thence along the Ea.st Boundary Line of Loop 286 as
<br />follows: North 19 Degrees, 58 Minutes West, a distance
<br />of 73 feet; North 21 Degrees, 55 Minutes West, a distance
<br />of 100 feet; North 22 Degrees, 09 Minutes West, a dis-
<br />tance of 295 feet to the place of beginning.
<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
<br />be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
<br />City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
<br />No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
<br />accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
