OR DINANC E NO. 1910 - <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES- <br />TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A TRACT OF LAND LYING ADJACENT TO <br />THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF STATE HIGHVJAY NO. 24 AND THE NORTH <br />BOUNDARY LINE OF LOOP 286 S. E., AND BEING LOT 15 IN CITY <br />BLOCK 170-C, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO FORD MOLEN AND WIFE, <br />JOLENE MOLFN, AND MEIRSHALL MOLEN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br />TERRITORY FORMERLY DFSIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); <br />AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARI S , TEXEIS : <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established <br />by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br />Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established <br />on a tract of land lying adjacent to the East Boundary Line of <br />State Highway No. 24 and the North Boundary Line of Loop 286 <br />S. E., and being Lot 15 in City Block 170-C, on property belong- <br />ing to Ford Molen and wife, Jolene Molen, and Marshall Molen, so <br />as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter <br />described property, which was formerly and is presently desig- <br />nated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries <br />of the said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby <br />established as follows: <br />All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land <br />lying and being situated in the City ofParis, <br />Lamar County, Texas, being a part of a tract of <br />48.69 acres conveyed to W. Claud Walker from <br />Oscar Ihznagan, Executor of the estate of Etta <br />Richie by deed dated August 29, 1947 and re- <br />corded in Book 301, Page 57, Lamar County Deed <br />Records and being more particularly described <br />by metes and bounds as follows, tow'wit: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pipe in the E.B.L. of <br />Texas State Highway No. 24, a distance of 540.5 <br />feet South 25° W. of the present N.W.C. of the <br />aforesaid 48.69 acre tract; <br />THENCE S. 65° E. 210' an iron pipe; <br />THENCE S. 250 W. 726.6 feet to the N.B.L. of <br />State Highway Loop No. 286; <br />THENCE with the N.B.L. of highway loop N. 760 W. <br />170.5 feet a stake; <br />THENCE N. 32° W. 51.2 feet a stake in the E.B.L. <br />of Texas State Highway No. 24; <br />THENCE along the E.B.L. of Highway No. 24 N. 25° E. <br />731' to the place of beginning containing 3.581 acres <br />of land. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, <br />be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the <br />City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance <br />No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br />accordance with the provis ions of this ordinanc e. <br />
